As a teenager, Dr. Alik Saidov was seriously injured. His own experience with pain led him to choose the medical field; His own experience with pain led him to choose the medical field; providing him with the ability to help others suffering from pain. Dr. Saidov specializes in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and most often treats: Spinal herniated discs, spinal radiculitis (sciatica), neuropathy, spinal stenosis, arthritis, headaches, and failed back surgery syndrome.
Dr. Saidov is a board-certified physician specializing in anesthesiology and pain management. After training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Saidov became a senior staff physician where he implemented a variety of interventional procedures and medical management techniques for acute and chronic pain, which included spinal cord/peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery therapy and kyphoplasty/vertibraplasty. It was at Henry Ford Hospital where Dr. Saidov was honored as “Resident of the Year” in 2010 and he served as chief resident. He was also awarded the title of “Top Pain Management Physician” in 2012 by Hour Detroit magazine and has been recognized for his achievements in scientific research due to his diligence and attention to patient care.
Later, Dr. Saidov was recognized as top pain management physician in Arlington, Texas. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. Dr. Saidov has given back to the medical community by serving as instructor at both the College of Career Training and the United Medical Institute in Sacramento, California.
Outside of the office, Dr. Saidov enjoys sports and spending time with his family. Back in his home of Uzbekistan, he was an avid cyclist and was on the bicycling national team. Currently, he possesses a brown belt in Sogo Budo Jiu-Jitsu, Ku-Do. As a family, Dr. Saidov, with his wife and younger son, train at MMA “boot camp”. They also love spending time outdoors, and he and his wife enjoy watching their older son play football.

1996: Dr. Saidov was awarded the title of, “Best member of The Students Scientific Society of the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute, Uzbekistan.” As a result of this accomplishment, he was honored to represent his medical school at the National Students Scientific Contest, where he won first place, and was declared the best member of “The Students Scientific Society of Uzbekistan”.
In 2008, Dr. Saidov was elected by his peers as a class representative at Anesthesiology Department in Henry Ford Hospital. In 2009, I was honored to be offered a position as a Chief Resident at Anesthesiology Department at Henry Ford Hospital. By the faculty I was selected into a Resident Educational Committee. I was assigned to represent the Anesthesiology department at Henry Ford Quality Improvement Committee.
During Dr. Saidov’s bicycling sport career he won many victories at national competitions. His participation in sports continued in the US as a medical team volunteer in CaliforniaMan Triathlon. In recognition of outstanding service at the event and for the continuous 17 hours of medical assistance, he was given a certificate of recognition. Dr. Saidov’s dedication to volunteerism and community service was recognized by California State Senate in honor of participation at the 2005 Healthy Lifestyle Summit.
